Everyday I get asked that same question over and over again, "Mommy is Halloween today or tomorrow?" Even though my hubby and I have told our children more than once; that Halloween isn't until Oct. 31st. This year our oldest tells us that, he wants to be Indian Jones, Buzz Lighter, and Iron Man. He is so cute; my hubby and I try to explain to him that he can't be all of those different characters at once. Our son gives us a crazy look and says, "You Guys Are Just Kidding," and runs off (got to love it :-). Our littlest one tells us he wants to eat a lot of candy and say, "trick or treat," over and over again. We asked our little one what he wanted to be for halloween this year, and he pointed to himself and said, "ME," he had my hubby and I laughing; because he said it with the cutest expression on his face. Halloween will be here before we know it... What are your kids wanting to be for Halloween this year?

They sound so cute! You should print a free calendar for your kids to cross days off of so they know how long until Halloween!
ReplyDeleteMy little guy is going to be a giraffe this year, so long as the costume I just bought him fits then. I can't wait!
Thanks for the idea of the calendar. We show them on our calendar that is hanging from our wall; but I think giving one for them to cross off is even better.
ReplyDeleteThanks Again
Stina :-)
As soon as school started I got bobarded with questions about how long it was until Halloween. I didn't really think about a calendar, but that is a good idea... (We used this in the past for days until a vacation.
ReplyDelete(BTW: Thanks for the follow. I will check back in with you too...)
Man, you think I can spell bombarded? (LOL)
ReplyDeleteAw... that's cute :) We had the Halloween discussion just the other day! And now I have an idea for today's post ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Ha ha so cute! I can't WAIT until Halloween. My daughter is 11 months, but this will be her second. She is going to look so sweet in her ladybug costume :)
ReplyDeleteIan is going as a ghost since it is his first Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to say thanks ladies for all of your replies:-) It is so neat to hear what your kids are going to be for Halloween this year.
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm visiting from MBC. Great blog.
ReplyDeleteluv the enthusiasm of kiddos!
ReplyDeleteWe just let our kids wear their costumes early. They don't get any candy but they get the fun of dressing up.
ReplyDeleteA Halloween costume can be much more fun when you get to wear it over and over again. Now we have already figured out that we need something to hold my son's mask in place.
I loved when my kids were younger and their anticipation of Halloween and Christmas. It was a very fun stage! I look forward to following your blog. Thanks for following mine.
